PŁD-450 is an automatic machine used to produce heating and chimney wood in large quantities.

In one operating cycle, the machine combines wood cutting using a chain saw with splitting and conveying onto the flitch pile using a transport belt conveyor.

The PŁD-450 splitter saw is equipped with fully automatic control: chain guide, log clamp, splitting, input and output feeder, hydraulic height adjustment of the splitting knife. All functions are performed by the operator using a joystick. The PŁD-450 splitter saw is manufactured in automatic and semi-automatic versions and as a mobile chassis version with any drive, POS, combustion engine, electric motor and mixed drive.
